A mother and daughter have openly discussed their paths into the adult entertainment world.
Seka Black, 70, and her 23-year-old daughter Nessi are both active in the industry and say they support each other’s careers. In a joint YouTube interview, they recounted how it all began, with Seka explaining that her involvement followed her and her husband’s participation in the swinging lifestyle.
“I’ve stepped away from my accounting career, and now we’re enjoying this new chapter,” Seka said.
Nessi shared that she first learned about her mother’s work during a family trip to Disneyland, when she came across explicit messages on her mom’s phone. That moment, she said, helped her piece the situation together.
“It was the last thing I ever expected you to be doing, but once I connected the dots I actually thought it was pretty cool,” Nessi recalled.
She added that she had long been curious about the field herself but chose not to enter the industry at too young an age. Nessi experimented with camming platforms at 18 but didn’t begin creating adult content in earnest until she was about 20.
Today, both Seka and Nessi run their own OnlyFans accounts. Seka has also taken her career further by performing in adult films for major studios. While the pair don’t produce content together, Seka noted that her husband — who is also Nessi’s father — plays a significant role behind the scenes.
“My husband is my videographer and editor, so we really enjoy working together,” Seka said.
Nessi, meanwhile, described how her fiancé has been supportive of her career, adding that their relationship has strengthened without the pressures of traditional jobs.
“My fiancé and I both went to trade school and built other skills first, just in case I ever decided to step away from this work,” she explained.
Unlike her mother, who entered the adult industry after leaving a career in accounting, Nessi left her traditional job much earlier.
“I wasn’t happy working at the condo, so I thought, ‘I’m just going to try OnlyFans,’” she explained, adding that her mother encouraged her to “go for it” when she first considered making the switch. Both of her parents, she said, were supportive of her decision.
Seka confirmed this: “At that time we were even trying to help you with advice — but this younger generation is better with the technology than we are,” she said with a laugh.
Despite the age gap, the two say their differences have become strengths. Nessi often manages her mother’s social media, while Seka mentors her daughter on “the business side” of the industry. Even so, Nessi admitted it can sometimes feel awkward — particularly when her mom’s fans reach out to her on Instagram.
Seka, now a recognized name in the adult world, was recently nominated for an AVN Award — often described as the “Oscars of the industry.” Although she didn’t win, she drew attention on the red carpet in a glittering ruby-red gown.
As for the future, the 70-year-old performer says retirement isn’t on the horizon. “I take each day as it comes and just wing it,” Seka said, adding that she plans to continue for at least another five years.
